is child's play for some. For others it is a real challenge!

But once you do have the skill of locating the ‘edge’
then the results in your body, in your emotions,
and in your mind are extraordinary.



Going to that boundary is an act of mind.
It is a shift of attention.
It is a movement of awareness.


Yet it is innocent and unnoticeable.
You can use it everywhere and every when.
You can whip it out quicker than your credit card
to get things you really need moment to moment.

Things like comfort, ease, freedom from panic.
Or like stopping strain, anxiety, stress or tension.
Or like reaching, bending, lifting,
running, jumping or just standing still!




The skills we must 'get' are about handling attention.
You’d think that we’d be good at this since
we use attention every day and all the time.

Not so. Just wait till you try it! You’ll soon find
that your attention is out of your control
and directed by everything and everyone else.
